Ditto to that, Abigail!! Remebering the time a number of years ago when Pappy's herd did get out and were running away made me laugh too when I saw that pic and caption combo, but it sure wasn't funny at the time it happened!!
Girls, remember the calf that was running around on the road a few years ago at Pappy's - the one we had to sit on in the back of a pick up to hold down while we took if back to the barn?
I do, Jon, and what a chase it was! Up and down, around and around.... I seem to remember that it was a spectatular tackle by one of you guys that finally lead to the calf's capture and deportation. And that Josiah and I had to escort his unwilling mother back to the barn.... We can laugh about it now. ;)
I certainly do, Jon! I think we had to do that with a couple calves. I can think of two instances when we did that.
LOL! You poor cow farmers!! Did the farmer's cows in the pic really get loose or was that just a funny quote?
