I have fond memories of that tree!
At first glance the little boy (I wasn't able to identify him with certainty) sitting in the grass seems to be cold, which was definitely not what one would expect after hearing the reports of the extreme heat. I suppose there was probably some other reason. I did like the picture very much.
Referring to the photo of Dad--It is so typical. Relaxation is something that Dad has down to an exact science. I liked that picture even better (just because of its personal value, of course).
