Comparison Time

We thought this was interesting. In the two pictures below, Josiah and Ben each took pictures of the same subject, just from different angles and at different times of day.

So which one do you like better? And no, neither of us will be offended if you don't like our picture. ;-)

Benjamin

Josiah

It's hard to tell! I like Josiah's picture for the warm, late-day colors and the reduced clutter compared to Ben's. However, I think the composition on Ben's picture is stronger.

I like Ben's better because it shows the whole picture.... and I like how it's framed by the trees around the edge. :-)

Depends on if you want to see the building, or the building in the setting. I like both of them best, depending on what mood I'm in just then...

(I know, I know--I picked a comfortable position for a comparison!)

I think Ben's is best, don't ask me why. Did you know that every day the Smithsonian adds 2500 things to its collections?

Wow! These photos are very close! My opinion's very similar to that of Dale's. I would add that if Josiah's photo had been "trimmed up" just a little, when being taken, it would have been the better of the two.
