"Are you guys Amish?" ~ Hmm we were asked that once. At that point I had my cowboy boots and hat while my sisters had a couple of dresses on that would have been considered, by Amish standards, a bit extravagant. Gotta love those guys! At least they tried! ;-)
LOL Michael, I guess we can't expect everyone to be able to tell the difference between an Amish and a conservative, "worldly" Christian.
Actually we don't get asked if we are Amish all that much, but of course the people who do wouldn't know the difference between a new order Mennonite and an old order Amish ;-)

And then, being looked at like the person doesn't believe you? That's the real kicker.
